Biggest accomplishment as a student leader:

My biggest accomplishment as a student leader would have to be this past summer I went to Washington D.C. with my fellow exec members and attended Generation Action’s National Youth Conference. While at the conference, we networked with hundreds of campus advocates on issues such as access to affordable health services, comprehensive sex education, and sexual assault. I was fortunate enough to meet with Ohio Senators and members of the House as well. There were even a few Bobcats on
heir staff! Being at the conference with so many other people advocating for change made me feel like we really were making a difference.

Best memory at OHIO:

My best memory at OHIO so far has been anything involved with Student Alumni Board, especially Homecoming week.

Biggest quirk:

I am terrified of the dark

Your role model and why:

One of my role models is Sophia Bush. She is my role model because she uses her celebrity in positive ways, like inspiring advocacy projects around the world. She is a huge advocate for women’s rights and picks projects to work on that are aimed at our generation to become active in society.

What makes a leader?

A leader is someone who is independent, compassionate, and someone who takes their ideas, and the ideas of others and puts them in to action.
