Leadership positions and organizations
Student Leader at Baker Catering, President of BobcaThon, Executive Board of WishMakers On Campus as the Community Liaison, Alpha Phi Omega and APhiO’s Relay for Life Committee, member of Child Life Student Organization. I also completed an Entertainment Internship at Give Kids the World Village in Kissimmee, Florida over the summer!
Biggest accomplishment as a student leader:
photo 2Everything related to BobcaThon. I am so proud of be a part of something that we hope will continue to be an OU tradition for years to come. Other schools raise millions of dollars for their chosen dance marathon philanthropy, and hopefully one day we can do the same for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio.
Best memory at OHIO:
Staying up all night at Relay for Life with my best friends and APhiO brothers!
Biggest quirk:
I can make anything into a song or dance.
Your role model and why:
Besides my family and friends, I would have to say Broadway actress Sierra Boggess. Not only does she have extensive Broadway credits to her name, she is an excellent role model, philanthropist, and person. She has such a positive and uplifting out look on life. I like to watch her video blog of her adventures backstage at Phantom of the Opera on Broadway and she always ends her videos saying “You are so enough. You are so enough, it’s unbelievable how enough you are”- which I think is something we all need to realize. 🙂
What makes a leader?
Passion, dedication, positivity , and perseverance.
Favorite quote:
“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.” – Leo Buscaglia
